What is the GARAGE REWARDS Loyalty Program?
A free loyalty program at participating Detail Garage & Chemical Guys retail stores that lets you earn points on qualifying purchases and activities to unlock exclusive rewards.
Where can I redeem points?
In-store at participating Detail Garage and Chemical Guys retail locations only. You cannot redeem points at Chemical Guys Car Wash or online (chemicalguys.com).
How do I join?
Create a GARAGE REWARDS customer account in-store or online. You must be 18+ to create an account and earn points on qualifying purchases and activities. Membership is free. No purchase is necessary to create an account.
How do I earn points?
You earn 1 point per $1 spent on qualifying purchases. You also earn designated points by completing other qualifying activities announced on the Garage Rewards mobile application or in participating stores.
Which purchases don’t earn points?
You don’t earn points for buying clearance items, gift cards, select promotional bundles, or any items the Company designates as non-qualifying.
When will points show up?
Points post to your account 48–72 hours after the qualifying activity.
Do my points expire?
Yes. Points expire on the last calendar day of the twelfth (12th) calendar month after the calendar month in which they were earned.
What are the tier levels?
The Program has three (3) tiers based on a Member’s cumulative Qualifying Purchases within a rolling twelve (12) calendar month period:
- Tier 1 (Crew): Entry tier upon enrollment
- Tier 2 (Insider): Achieved once a Member reaches $250 in total Qualifying Purchases within a 12 calendar- month period.
- Tier 3 (Pro): Achieved once a Member reaches $500 in Qualifying Purchases within a 12 calendar month period.
Tier status is determined exclusively by Qualifying Purchases and is re-evaluated and, if necessary, reset at the end of each rolling twelve (12) calendar month period. Expiration of points does not impact tier status.
What perks come with tiers?
Higher tiers may get earlier access to products, double point events, free classes, Tech Talks, and priority reward catalog access.
What are Rotating Rewards?
Rotating Rewards are exclusive to Garage Rewards members and may change quarterly. They may feature seasonal, limited-edition, or high-demand products. Insider members receive early access, while Pro members get priority access. Rewards are first-come, first-served and available while supplies last.
What are 2x Points events?
Insider members are eligible to receive double points (2x) for Qualifying Purchases at two (2) promotional events per year, and Pro members are eligible to receive double points (2x) at three (3) promotional events per year. Crew members are not eligible to receive double points at promotional events. The Company sets dates and durations of promotional events, and 2x points apply only to Qualifying Purchases made during the event (not retroactive).
What are Tech Talks?
Tech Talks are one-on-one educational sessions with an expert. They’re tailored to a member’s needs or selected topics and scheduled by appointment, subject to availability. Tech Talks are for education only and do not guarantee specific outcomes.
How do I redeem points?
You may redeem points in person at participating Company stores. You may use your points to purchase items listed in the Company’s Quarterly Rewards Catalog. Only one rewards redemption may be applied per transaction and may not be combined with coupons, discounts, or other offers.
Are there sweepstakes or prize drawings?
Yes! Members get access to exclusive sweepstakes, contests, and in-store prize drawings. These perks do not use points.
What if I return an item?
Points earned from that purchase will be deducted from your points balance.
What if my account is inactive?
Accounts with no activity for 12 consecutive months will be closed. All points & tier status associated with those accounts will be forfeited.
Will I receive texts or emails?
If you opt in to SMS/text messages, you may receive automated texts about promotions, points activity, surveys, and event invites. You may opt out of SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP.
I was in the old rewards program—what happens now?
The unexpired points associated with our prior rewards program account will automatically become subject to this current GARAGE REWARDS program. The unexpired points from our prior rewards program will expire if not used on or before November 1st, 2026.
